Dorothy Elizabeth Rawlings, age 100, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2011, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on May 2, 1911, to the late George and Phoebe Scholl. She worked as a bookkeeper for Pittsburgh Plate Glass, and she enjoyed gardening. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Rawlings; and by son-in-law, Thomas Powers. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Powers; grandchildren, Karen and Bill; and 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton. Arrangements by the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel.
