Dorothy E. Reese

Dorothy E. Reese, 96, of Orient, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. She was born January 19, 1914 in Ostrander, Ohio to the late Oliver and Maude Miller. Dorothy is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, John H. Reese; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Dorothy is survived by her children, Don (Anita) Reese, James (Mary) McClure, Bob (Betty) Reese, June Hill; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great, great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of Grove City Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed playing euchre, square dancing and traveling. Dorothy’s main love in life was her family. A special thank you to Mount Carmel Hospice for all their compassion and care. Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Rev. Owen Stotts will be officiating with interment at Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hospice in Dorothy’s memory.
