Dorothy M. Thompson, age 84, of Orient, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at home. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Ohio on July 31, 1927 to the late David and Mary (Goble) Everetts. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Thompson; longtime companion, Charlie Daugherty; and nine siblings. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Katrena) Thompson and Dorothy Scott; grandchildren, Toni (Mike) Derreberry, Mike Daugherty, Kim Daugherty, and Nick Thompson; and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Carl and Leroy Everetts; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at 1:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio.
