Dorothy (Dottie) Neilson Ward, 87, passed away July 27, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born July 12, 1925 in Sunbury, Ohio. Married to her husband Frank for over 50 years, they raised their children in Clintonville before moving to Houston, Texas. Dottie is preceded in death by her husband Frank Ward, brother Chuck Neilson, and brother-in-law Wayne Barr. She is survived by her sister, June Barr, and children Randy (Lynne), Terry (Darlene), Kenny (Anna), and Dianna (Matt). Dottie was a devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren: Brian, Greg, David, Ryan, Tyler, Corey, Alexandria, Christopher, Julia, John Charles, Britni, and Stacey. Burial will be in Sunbury, Ohio. Private service for family will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Arrangements are being handled by Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085.
