Douglas E. Wilson

Douglas E. Wilson lived in Central Ohio most of his life with his loving wife, Carol. Moved to Kentucky in 2017 to be close to his daughter, Cheryl and granddaughters who he loved dearly and definitely for his son-in-law, Mike's cooking.

Retired from Ohio Bell/Ameritech after 36 years. He talked fondly of all the lifelong friends and coworkers he made over the years.

Doug had a passion for golf, crosswords, trivia (he had an answer for everything) and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved traveling with his wife and brother-in-law, Richard Buehler and sister-in-law, Barbara Buehler all over Europe or to Arizona for Hot Air Balloon rides with his daughter Cindy.

Preceded in death by wife Carol Wilson; mother, Lucille G. Elleman; father, Charles LeRoy Wilson; step Father, William Elleman; and brother, Dave Wilson.

Survived by daughters, Cindy Wilson; Cheryl Martin (Mike); granddaughter's, Samantha Martin and Amanda Martin; brother, Dave Wilson; four nieces, three nephews extended family and lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held for Douglas on March 1st at 12:00pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN with a private graveside service immediately after.
