

Dustin J. Dobos, 38, born February 22nd, 1979 in Columbus, OH passed away Wednesday, May 24th, 2017. Dustin attended Bexley High School and went on to pursue his Bachelor's degree at Wooster College and completed his degree in Ecotourism at The Ohio State University. Dustin was a man with many passions and talents and was a lover of nature, adventure, and music. It was after Dustin moved to Honolulu, Hawaii in 2010 that he was able to not only live alongside and explore some of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world, but also achieve great success with his band, The White Jacket, and with his dreadlock business. Dustin, described as gentle, talented and incredibly intelligent by those who knew him is survived by his parents James and Christine Dobos; siblings Edward Hindes, Joseph Dobos, Deanna Ropp, Angela Dobos, Devin Ronto, and Shawn Ronto; and grandmother Marilyn Hupp. Dustin is preceded in death by Margaret Chandler, and his grandparents James and Augusta Dobos and Virgil Hupp.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 5th, 2017 followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 7:00 P.M. at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 East Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232. Please feel welcome to join us in sharing fun stories, memories, poems, songs or readings. There will also be a Memory Box for the family so photos and any other keepsakes that remind you of Dustin are encouraged. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 11539 National RD SW, Pataskala, OH 43062.
Dustin passionately believed in the importance of preserving and caring for the environment.
