E. Gail Schick

E. Gail Schick, age 85, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012. He was born in New Straitsville, Ohio on October 24, 1927. Gail graduated from New Straitsville High School and The Ohio State University. He retired from the State of Ohio MRDD where he worked as Deputy Director. He was a member of the New Straitsville Masonic Lodge. Gail was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Allen Beattie; first wife, Martha Jeanne Viau; second wife, Shirley Schick; and son, Gail Patrick Schick. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Simmons, Kim (Albert) Knueven, and Kelly (Al) Coker; grandchildren, Leah (Brian) Griffin, Jason Coker, Liz (Brian) Daron, Dana (Lon) Carper, and Sarah Knueven; great grandchildren, Ayden Carper, Wendell Daron, Ruby Daron, and Madison Griffin; and many other extended family member and dear friends. Gail was very generous to charities and his community. He enjoyed traveling, golfing; collecting and watching old movies; and dancing with his late wife, Shirley.
