Eara N. Garven

Eara was born January 4, 1957 in Newark to Don and Ethel (McElfresh) Garven. He died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at The Selma Markowitz Center, operated by Hospice of Central Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Ethel Garven,

He was a veteran of the US Army, loved to collect Coca-Cola memorabilia, and was a fan of the Buckeyes and Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his wife Christina, children Rita Garven, Brittany Wiley, Zachary and Christopher Garven. Grandchildren Jared Hecker, Ayden Eisenbach, and Taylor Morrison. Sisters Irene (Rick) McWilliams and Sarah Hoover, brothers Everett (Judy) Garven, Fred (Lucinda) Garven, Whitney (Doris) Garven, and Jesse (Ruth) Garven, several nieces and nephews, and his dogs Bear and Blackie.

Friends may contribute to the family to help with expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
