

He was born on September 10, 1950, to Colonel Earl Fox Sr. and Virginia Carroll Fox in Nurnberg, Germany. He graduated from Columbus Eastmoor High School in 1968, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve with the rank of Major for 17 years. He worked for the A&P Company, R.G. Barry Corporation, Lifeline Systems and Tampa Tent. He has resided in Tampa, FL for 20 years.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents Colonel Earl Fox Sr. and Virginia Carroll Fox. He is survived by his soulmate, Jackie Clark, his children Charlene Fox (Don) Lightbody, and Joseph E. (Alissa) Fox, grandchildren Katy Sue, D.J., and Maggie Lightbody; Caymin and Madden Fox. Also survived by sisters Carole Fox, Nancy (Steve) Sagle, Linda (Dave) Ramsey, and Debbie (Kevin) Hanson; brothers Ron (Kristi) Fox, Tom Fox, Jim (Judy) Fox and Mike (Bernadette) Fox, 28 nieces and nephews.
He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved his country, his family, and his work. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30am, Saturday, January 23, 2010, at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 807 Havens Corners Rd, Gahanna, with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Father Paul A. Noble, Celebrant. Interment with Military Honors at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
