

Earl Everett Lute, age 85 of Columbus, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. Earl was born June 16, 1928 in Pike County, Ohio, son of the late Joseph S. and Kate Lute. Also preceded in death, just 4 short weeks ago by his soul mate and wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Lute. In addition, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Earl graduated from Franklin University with a bachelor's degree and was an engineer with Owens-Illinois Glass Company for 55 years. Earl was also a spiritual leader at Walnut Heights Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school director. While there, he made a difference and touched many lives and brought many people to the Lord. He believed everyone was equally God's children and his love and passion shined through. He enjoyed listening to music, traveling, hunting and fishing, but it was spending time with his family that Earl cherished the most. He will be greatly missed by his children, Connie (Larry) Beaver and Craig (Vonnie) Lute; grandchildren, Danielle (Joshua) Worch, Jesse (Jessica) Cooper, Jerad (Jennifer) Cooper, and Sarah Lute; great grandchildren, Amber and Meghan Worch and Alex and Kaitlyn Cooper; sister, Lora Williams; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd., Canal Winchester. Pastor Norman Moxley, officiating.
