

Earl Moore, Jr., age 79, of Grove City, passed away Friday, September 3, 2010 at home. He was born in Mattie, Kentucky on May 16, 1931 to the late Earl and Dove Moore, Sr. Earl was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from the Columbus Police Department in 1988 after 26 years of service where he was a Sergeant and served as Court Liaison. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Freddie Kay Moore. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Christine E. Moore; daughter, Michelle (George) Spohn; grandsons, Sean, Eric, and Alexander Spohn; sister, Frances (Wallace) James; and nieces and nephews, Scott James, Virginia (James) Kensler, and Robert (Julia) Moore. Friends may call Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM with rosary service at 7:30PM at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL 3920 Broadway Grove City where the funeral service will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 10:00AM.
