

Earl L. Schwier, age 88, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away July 3, 2026. He was born November 26, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Earl proudly served in the United States Army and later retired from Harper Construction Company after a long and dedicated career.
Earl was a man of strong Christian faith who lived with kindness, humility, and quiet strength. He was devoted to his family and led by example throughout his life. He was a lifelong sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati Reds—having once tried out for the team—and the Cincinnati Bengals. One of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate in sports, where he was their proudest supporter.
He was a avid golfer achieving 7 holes in 1 during his lifetime.
Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary. He is survived by his children, Julie A. Foster and Daniel L. Schwier; his many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, loving heart, and his signature phrase “10- 4,” which he used often with family and friends. He is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior.
