Edgar Lewis King, Sr., age 86, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. He was born January 24, 1928 in Johnstown, Ohio to the late Roe and Eva King. He was retired from Trans World Airlines where he was as a mechanic for 35 years. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a member of New Haven Church. Edgar also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, John King. Edgar is survived by his loving wife, of 65 years, Catherine; sons, Edgar King, Jr. and Gregory (Mary) King; daughters, Sandra (Kevin) Poling and Sheila (Michael) Watson; sister Betty Forney; grandson, "Bub" and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl RD. where the funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday with Pastor Gaius Griffea officiating.
