A memorial service, to celebrate the life of Edith Irene Bernardo, age 66, of Newark will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 6:00 PM at the Tailgate Club, 351 South 30th Street, Heath, Ohio 43056.
Edith was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on April 10, 1947 to the late Robert Paul and Marjorie Belle (Leslie) Abel. She passed away at her residence on November 29, 2013.
Edith was a devoted homemaker to her children. She enjoyed woodworking, being outdoors and loved spending time with her pets and family.
Survivors include her children, James Kendall of Newark and Marjorie (Larry) DeNoon of Fairview, WV; grandchildren, Chase Kendall, Mickey Kendall and DeAnna Stratford; brother, Bob; sisters, Joyce, Paula and Lisa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, Newark.
