Edna May Gordon

Edna Gordon, 93, of Columbus, passed away on August 28, 2018. She was born on September 12, 1924. Edna lived a life centered around her family. She loved to cook for them and have family gatherings. She was married to her husband, Jack, for 73 ½ years. Together they had five children; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Edna had a great sense of humor leaving her family one last note telling them that she was a great bowler and much better than her two sons, signing it - I got the last laugh. All loved her spunky personality. Edna was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her daughter, Joy Gordon Patterson, and her grandson Timothy Buhacevich. She is survived by her son, Jack (Kathi) Gordon; daughter, Jeri Rod; son Joe (Mary) Gordon; and daughter, Joni (Tom) Pietrzak. Edna will have visiting hours at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 4-7 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Matthias, 1582 Ferris Rd, Columbus, Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthias.
