Edward Bridges, age 46 of Austin, Texas, entered into eternal rest, October 23, 2009. U.S. Army Veteran. Edward was employed by the City of Austin where he worked as a firefighter. Preceded in death by his mother, Delores Bridges, brother, Anthony Dickerson, grandmother, Jessie Dickerson, aunt, Ginger Simons, and uncle Ferris Dickerson. Survived by wife, Debbie; sons, Edward, III, and Blake; sister, Monica (Tyrone) Bias; aunt, Sandra (Milford) Hill; sister-in-law, Debbie Dickerson; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Additional services will be held in Austin, Texas.
