Edward Joseph Potokar

Edward Potokar Sr., 85, died peacefully on January 23rd, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Euclid, OH on September 20th, 1932 to the late Anton and Theresa Potokar. He is preceded by his parents and his son, John Potokar. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his children, Donna (David) Sheidlower, Edward (Michelle) Potokar, Stephen Potokar, Robert Potokar (Kristine Beasley), and Susan Hunter; grandchildren Ben and Sam Sheidlower, Danny, Katy, Anna, Becky, and Jude Potokar, Michael Larney, Jack Dubbs, Sophia, Joshua, and Jude Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Elsie, and Evelyn. Edward worked at Parker Hannifin for 30 years. Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 where a visitation will be held on Thursday January 25th, 2018 from 5-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church 807 Havens Corners Rd., Gahanna, OH 43230 at 12pm on Friday January 26th, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association 1379 Dublin Rd., Columbus, OH 43215.
