Elizabeth "Betty" Bandy

Betty J. (Eichner) Bandy, 87, died Thursday, June 30, 2011. She was born June 1, 1924 in Columbus to the late Max and Anna (Kruse) Eichner. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and belonged to St. Anthony’s Women’s Club, St. Anthony Heritage, St. Clare Circle and the Gahanna Babes Club. She was retired from Bank One. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford (Pete) Bandy, mother and father and brother Paul Eichner, brother-in-law Tom Rollins. She is survived by two sons David C. Bandy and Steven M. (Sheila) Bandy, three grandsons Patrick, Sean and Ryan Bandy all of Cincinnati, OH, five sisters Mary Rollins of Indianapolis, IN, Jean (Albert) Kessler of Columbus, Dorothy (Cliff) Weate of New Port Richey, FL, Ruth (Delmar) Marble of London, OH and Maxine Crum of West Liberty, OH, sister-in-law Frances Nelson of Portland, OR and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd.where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be observed Friday at 10 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Dr., Columbus with entombment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
