Elizabeth Ann Gearheart

Gearheart, Elizabeth Ann, age 73, of Stoutsville, Ohio passed away on Sunday February 25, 2024. She was born on January 24, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio and is joined in by death her parents, mother Louise Sager; husband Anthony Gearheart and sister in law Penny Sager. Elizabeth leaves behind her children Christopher Johnston, Jenette (Kevin) Turner and Doug (Anyta) Cox; grandchildren Sara (Joshua) Rader, Seth Cox and Landen Cox; great grandchildren Xander, James, Caroline, Frances and Odin. Elizabeth also leaves behind her siblings John (Linda) Sager, Craig Sager, Nancy Sager and Lorrie (Richard) Whitaker. Elizabeth loved to tend to her birdfeeders and watch the hummingbirds in her yard and she was also a collector of angels. Elizabeth will also be missed by her grand pups and grand turtle. She was the best mommy in the world. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024 from 5PM to 7PM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. A committal service will be held on Friday March 1, 2024 at 10AM at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway, Ohio in the Mausoleum Chapel where Rev. Dean Queen will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, Ohio 43206.
