Elizabeth Irwin

Beth was born in Columbus to the late Earl B. and Mary Elizabeth (Heiser) Lang. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Donald "Dick" Lang and sister Sarah Rase; as well as her long-time friend Darrell Hollar. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Steve) Wenz; granddaughters Amelia and Elise Wenz; and grandpets Max and Pete Wenz.

After her retirement from the City of Columbus, Beth pursued her passion as an adoring grandmother, attending with pride all of her granddaughters theatre, dance, and concert events, and participating in the daily care of them, living only two miles away. She also enjoyed travelling and camping with Darrell until his passing. She was a member of Reynoldsburg Senior Center which allowed her the opportunity to travel the world. She was an active line dancer and a member of Silver Sneakers. Her love for life and family kept her very active.

Visitation will be at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 1-4PM, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10AM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
