

Preceded in death by her mother Ruth and father James “Milton” Turner. She is survived by her sister Rebecca and brother-in-law Jack Miesmer; Aunt Jenny and Aunt Bea; numerous cousins; boyfriend Mike Dillon of London, Ohio; special friend at Learning Never Ends, Robert McPeek; other special friends Mary Mellett, Rebecca Prichett, Jeff Turner and too many others to list.
She lived 56 years on the family farm in Madison Co., and graduated from Cedarville High School, Class of 1973. She loved her many pets, working within Madison County MRDD and being active in her church, Christian Fellowship of South Solon. The following 6 years, she lived in Columbus, Ohio with her sister and brother-in-law.
There she first worked at ARC Industries, then attended Learning Never Ends, where she loved friends, cooking, art (especially scrapbooking) and going bowling. She loved to travel, especially when she could fly in a plane. She was proud of her 20 plus trophies and medals she earned in Special Olympics, in bowling and skiing. At home, she enjoyed watching T.V., scrapbooking, latch hooking and working on her soap opera journals.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A special thanks to all who enriched Libby’s life and helped with her care.
A Memorial Service honoring her life will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N. High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085, where family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. that afternoon.
Services will also be held at the Ingling, Williams and Lewis Funeral Home, 24 N. Chillicothe Street, St. South Charleston, Ohio 45368, at 1pm, Saturday, January 17, 2014, where family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m, prior to her services. Interment will follow at S. Solon Cemetery.
Libby’s favorite color was purple. Please honor her by wearing any shade of purple to her services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice, Special Olympics or to DSACO of Central Ohio in her memory.
