

Elizabeth "Betty" Campbell Meyer, 94, of Worthington, passed away on January 11, 2020. She was born October 2, 1925 in Muscoda, WI to George and Esther (Brophy) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Betty will be greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, Hank, her children George (Sallie) and Anne-Marie (Ken Frazier) and grandsons Justin and Alex.
Betty grew up in Wisconsin, earning a Bachelor's degree in English from Edgewood College in Richland Center, WI and a graduate degree in English from Rosary College in River Forest, IL. She enjoyed teaching English to high school students for many years prior to raising a family. As a life-long learner, Betty served as a docent at the Columbus Museum of Art for over 15 years, gaining great satisfaction from sharing her extensive knowledge of art history and artists' lives.
Pleasant memories of Betty are vast, but she will be most remembered for her curious and sharp mind, her sparkling laugh, and her deep love for her family.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Wednesday, January 14, 2020 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 North High Street. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
