Elizabeth Ann Myers

Elizabeth Ann Myers, age 91, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. Liz was born in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England on February 23, 1933 to the late Florence Elizabeth (Stone) and John Edward Bokenham.

In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Winslow Myers; grandsons, Calvin Winslow John “Vinnie” Straughter and Romanno Avellino Head; great-grandson, Enrique Straughter.

Liz is survived by her children, Linda Louise Straughter, Jayne Ann Head, Dominic Jerome (Sondra) Myers, and Amelia Florence Myers; grandchildren, Marcello Vijencio Myers, Jaime Maria Straughter, Erin Sophia Straughter, Myoshi Martina Myers-Dickerson, David Julian Orlando Pacheco, Zoffeal Myers, Alexis Elizabeth Ann Bridgeforth, Xavier Myers, Leonardo Myers, and Navaeh Myers; great-grandchildren, DezJuan Oshay Myers, Mackenzie Nichelle Myers, Brandon Williams, Armani Philip Knox, Serentiy Martina Sharee Fields, and Sincere Armahd Jones; Avellino Vijencio Dewayne Myers, Jehon Myers, Madison Marcelle Myers, and Mason Cozart Myers; great great-grandaughter, Kayori Myers.

Liz was creative and a talented artist. She enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting, and knitting. She was adventurous, strong-willed, and brave. Liz enjoyed nature, walking, listening to music and watching the History Channel.

She will be deeply missed.
