

Elizabeth Ann Scott, age 84, joined "The Great Cloud of Witnesses" early morning on Friday, June 22, 2018. Elizabeth was born on March 11, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert Frederick Wylie and Alta Lenor Culp Wylie. Elizabeth attended Kent State University where she met her husband Carl Chauncey Scott and had just celebrated 63 years of marriage in February. Elizabeth and Carl called Upper Arlington, Ohio home for 55 years. She worked outside the home as an executive secretary, fashion model and property manager. In her younger years she was an accomplished English equestrian and authored two historical novels. Elizabeth loved gardening, decorating, bird-watching, reading, baking, cats, watching PBS and The Weather Channel. She enjoyed time spent with family in the Hocking Hills, Canada, Maine, and at Lake Erie and in Carl's home town of Scio, Ohio. She doted on her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors, often in the form of baked goods or savories. She was a longtime member of Riverside United Methodist Church in Upper Arlington. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her loving husband Dr. Carl Chauncey Scott; her son William Wylie Scott of Jacksonville, Florida; Daughter-in-law Katalina Salcedo Scott of Pittsburgh, Pa.; daughter Rev. Rebecca Scott Ozcomert of Upper Arlington, Ohio; daughter Jennifer Scott Michael (Patrick) of Worthington, Ohio; Son-in-law Randal Wayne Wellman of Hocking Hills, Ohio and Eloise Del Matto. Her grandchildren Jacqueline Scott, Benjamin Ozcomert, Carson Ozcomert, Madeline Wellman and Jeremy Wellman. Additionally, Elizabeth will be missed by her sister Janice Robinson and many nieces and nephews and their families plus Carl and Elizabeth's Norwegian Forest Cat Frasier. The Scott family would like to thank the staff of National Church Residences Mill Run for their care of Elizabeth, and their continued care and compassion shown to Carl and family.
