Elizabeth Devonne Taylor “Peanie” was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio July 9, 1949 to Eugene and Mary Taylor. She went home to eternal peace September 17, 2026. She is proceeded in death by her father, Eugene Taylor, Mother Mary Taylor and sister Mary Jean Davis.
Known by both nick names “Liz” or family and friends called her “Peanie” is a proud graduate of East High School, class of 1967! Go Tigers! Liz grew up on the eastside of Columbus and lived directly across from the landmark water tower on E Fifth and Joyce Avenue. She worked more than 30 years at Western Electric where she retired from but decided to go back to work at Franklin County MRDD working there more than 10 years before finally retiring from
the workforce for good.
She loved to dance, 2pac was her favorite and she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, who she loved more than life it self. She was so happy when her nieces and nephews would pop up to see her. Her beautiful smile and awesome spirit lit up any room she entered.
She never meet a stranger.
Liz is survived by her only child, Tracy Taylor, grandchildren. Donnika, Daya, David, great grandchildren, Anthony, Marshaun and Dayvon. brother, Allan Taylor, Sisters, Loretta (George) Harrison, Rita (Vaughn) Stephenson, Theresa Taylor and her life long besties; Kathleen French & Emma Taylor
