Ella Nelson

Ella Nelson, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2016 at Monterey Care Center. Ella was born in West Virginia on October 11, 1922 to the late Samuel and Evenline (Duncan) Block. Ella will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was the most important thing to her. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Basil H. Nelson; daughter-in-law, Deb Nelson; son-in-law, Don Snyder; grandson, Paul A. Nelson; and 11 siblings. Survived by her children, JR, Tom (Liz), Jack, Don, Doris, Rick, Terry (Becki) and Michelle Nelson; 29 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; sisters, Minnie and Nelamae Bronson; many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitor from 4-7 pm Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad Street.
