Ellamae “Jackie” Morrison, age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was born July 17, 1922 to the late Saul and Evelyn (Tucker) Wharton. Ellamae graduated from Central High School. She worked for State Auto Insurance, retiring in 1982. Jackie found great enjoyment in playing cards, Bingo, and reading. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie A. Morrison; daughter, Pamela Kilguss; and brother, Paul Wharton. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Alexander; son-in-law, John Kilguss; and good friends, Mary Alice Wharton and Diane Rader. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 11 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL 3030 W. Broad St. where friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
