Ellen Jane Cummins

Ellen Jane Cummins, age 55, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was born in Lorain, Ohio on June 4, 1960. As a child she was active with 4-H and the Girl Scouts. Ellen was a 1978 graduate of Firelands High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She graduated from Lorain County Community College and earned her Bachelor's degree from Miami University. She was a member of the United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, John F. Cummins. Ellen is survived by her mother, Nancy Cummins; siblings, Daniel J. Cummins of Jacksonville, FL, Gary R. Cummins of Mustang, OK, and Paul D. Cummins of Crescent, OK; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and good friend, Carol Shaffer. A memorial service will be held in Oberlin, Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in Ellen's memory may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Opportunities for Research (MMORE) or the Lupus Foundation of America.
