Eloise M. Parker

Eloise M. Parker, 89, longtime Grove City Resident, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was born September 25, 1923 in Mount Victory, Ohio to the late Jacob and Carrie Wilkerson. She was the last living of five siblings.

Eloise retired from the Columbus Public Schools after 27 years. She was a member of the Grove City United Methodist Church, where she volunteered in the food pantry. She and her late husband, John loved to travel to the Smokey Mountains. Eloise enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.

In addition to her parents, Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, John Harold Parker in 2002; and siblings, Marilyn “Joanne” Willeke, Donald Wilkerson, Dallas Wilkerson, and Robert “Bob” Wilkerson. Eloise will be missed by her loving daughter, Diana (Jay) Cowgill, Westerville; granddaughters, Christina Cowgill, Cincinnati and Brittany Cowgill, Toledo; and many nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Monday, November 26, 2012 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., Worthington (Just south of I-270).
