Mrs. Elouise Jones was born on January 3, 1932, in Bishopville, South Carolina, to the late Elizabeth Mack. Elouise is preceded in death by her long-time husband, Elisha, for over 50 years of marriage and Elisha III, her son. At the age of nine, Elouise was baptized at St. Paul Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Dennis High School in 1949 where she then went to attend Benedict College. She was an active member of First African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Deaconess Board for years, Secretary of the President Council, Choir Member and in the Senior Ministry. Her current Pastor is The Reverend D’Andre James Daniels. Elouise and Elisha had four sons, Elisha III (Crystal), Michael, Charles Sr. (Rhonda), and David. They were blessed with seven grandchildren, Natalie, Shawna, Nina, Nazinga, Charles Jr., Charisse, Morisha; sixteen great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories, a lifetime friend, Cathrine Singleton and the Singleton Family; special nieces, Brenda, Janice, and Bobby; special nephews, Harold, (Sandrell) Jackson, Phil (Cynthia) Jones, and Emma Mack.
