She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two daughters whom are twins, Sylvia Denise Brown and Regina Marie Jenkins.
She is survived by her 10 loving children, Shirley Ann of Nevada, Riccarda (Berry) of Tennessee, Janet (Tommie) the oldest set of twins, Cynthia (Sylvia's twin), Richard (Paula) (Regina's twin), Sheila (Herb), Lori (Walter) of Michigan, James (Melissa), Karl (Tawanda), and Nicole (Hannah). Else is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and one last Jenkins sister-in-law, Janet, and many dear friends. Else Jenkins, our Queen, lived nearly 95 years. She was a loving, caring, nurturing, giving woman and would do anything for you. She loved her bling… and was classy woman in the style of clothing she wore. Her taste for rare jewelry showed on all her fingers, wrists and neck. She loved her fine chocolates and candies. Else never passed up a chance to go out to dinner or go shopping. But most of all she was outgoing and kind. Anyone that came to know her instantly loved her (and her refined tastes!). Her presence will be missed by all who loved her, especially her dog, "Sarg." She is already deeply missed and will be forever loved.
Visitation will be held at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43232, on Sunday, August 30, from 4pm-7pm. Her funeral service will take place the following morning at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL at 10am with interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate to follow. After the burial, a repast will be held from 12-4 PM at the Phenix Banquet Center, 2101 Noe-Bixby Road Columbus, Ohio 43232. Please consider bringing a dish to share as we gather and remember Else's life. The Jenkins family would like to thank everyone for their kind words, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time.
