Elsie Irene Williams

Elsie Irene Williams, 83, of Westerville, died Saturday, October 23, 2010. She was born March 23, 1917 in Galena, OH to the late Lester and Eda (Stout) Chambers. She was a very active, longtime member, of over fifty years of the Columbus North Church where she also was involved in the church choir. She was an avid Buckeye and Cincinnati Reds fan. She loved to camp, travel and square dance. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard and brother Everett Chambers. She is survived by daughter Pamela S. Williams, Mansfield, step son Lon (Barbara) Williams, Delaware, step daughter Lavetta Adams, Florence, AL, sisters and brother, Mary Dell (David) Nisbet, Westerville, Eldon Chambers, Westerville, Shirley (Arthur) Houk, Colville, WA, six step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Galena Cemetery.
