Emerson "Gene" Boseker

Emerson “Gene” Boseker, 86 of Dublin, died Saturday August 23, 2014 at Altercare of Hilliard. He was born June 12, 1928 in Columbus, OH to Emerson and Dana Boseker. Gene was a 1946 graduate of South High School and The Ohio State University. He also was a United States Air Force Veteran and was grateful to have taken The Honor Flight of Columbus in 2013. He was an avid golfer and member of The Amigo Club of Columbus and South High Dinner Club. Gene was preceded in death by his wife Genoa Gail Boseker in 1994, sister, Patty Franks and brother, James Boseker. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; his children; Steven (Diana) Boseker and Dana (Dr. Ted) Cunningham; grandchildren, Olivia, Wyatt and Genoa Cunningham and Audrey Boseker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8pm Wednesday at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL 6699 N. High St. where a memorial service will be held 1:00pm Thursday with Celebrant Andrew Hoover officiating. Inurnment will follow at Union Cemetery.
