Emma “Pat” Stelzer Oberschlake, age 89, died September 7, 2015. Pat was born in Alexandria, Ohio on April 27, 1926, the daughter of Mary (Wright) and Lewis Price. Among her many career achievements, Pat was Comptroller for Schwartz, Kelm, Warren and Rubenstein for 23 years. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands Bernard Russell Stelzer and Carlyle “Obie” Oberschlake. Pat is survived by her children John (Teria) Stelzer and their children Gregg and Nicole and four great grandsons; and Jacquie (Michael) Hurwitz and their daughter Sarah; sister Esther Price and numerous loving nieces and nephews and other family members. Friends may call 5-8pm Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Schoedinger Midtown Chapel, 229 E. State St., Columbus, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, September 12, 2015. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate in Reynoldsburg. In lieu of flowers donation would be appreciated to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, OH 43055 or Pelotonia.
