Emma E. Scherrer

Emma Scherrer, 79, passed away peacefully at her residence at the Jaycee Village on Tuesday October 5, 2010. Emma was born on December 21, 1930 to the late Louis and Marian (DeLuca) Gregory in Columbus, Ohio.

She grew up in the Columbus area and married the love of her life, the late Regis Scherrer. A devoted Catholic and a long time parishioner to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, she was a loyal distributor of the Living Faith Booklet for many years. A loving sister, aunt, and friend, she will be missed by all who were touched by her.

Survivors include her sisters Norma Barrow and Irene Biancone; brothers Robert (Esther) Gregory and James Gregory; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Along with her parents and husband Regis, Emma is preceded in death by her sister Helen Mann; brother-in-laws Leno Cusin, Paul Biancone, and John Barrow

A memorial visitation with prayers will be held on Monday from 2:00pm to 5:00pm October 11, 2010 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL. 5554 Karl RD. where the family will receive friends.
