

Emma Lee Turner, age 85, previously of Gahanna, currently of Port Richey, Florida, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Emma Lee was born in Huntington, West Virginia, daughter of the late Geossrey and Ethel Yates. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd E. Turner, son, Michael D. Turner, daughter-in-law, Robin Turner, and 5 siblings. Emma Lee retired from Western Electric and then went on to own Michael T's Lounge. She was a member of the VFW, NCO, and was a Gold Star Mother. Emma Lee was an outgoing woman who loved to laugh and always had fun. She found joy and life in everything she did and treasured every moment. She enjoyed playing euchre, working crossword puzzles, and loved to travel, especially cruises. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Lana (Harold) Emmers, Brenda Halfaker, Floyd Turner, and Albert (Diane) Turner; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of service.
