Erica Danielle Smith

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Makayla.

She is survived by her sons, Jacob and Jayden; mother, Karen L. (Mike) Brown; father, Daniel E. (Monica) Smith; brother, Daniel E. (Joey) Smith; step-brothers and step-sisters; nieces and nephews; and John Justice and his daughter, Alyssa.

Erica graduated from Newark High School in 1995. She loved the color purple, listening to her music and swimming. She was often found playing with her nieces and nephews, and loved putting a smile on their faces.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 10am-12pm at St. Thomas Apostle Catholic Church, 2692 E. Fifth Ave. Columbus, Ohio 43219, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12pm. Inurnment, St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockborne, Ohio.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Erica's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, a charity she felt passionate about,
