Ernestine Louise Griffin

Ernestine Louise Griffin born May 11, 1956, left this earthy journey to be with the Lord on April 13, 2017 at Heartland of Uptown Westerville. Ernestine is preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Genevieve Dumas and brother, Bernard Griffin. She leaves to cherish her spirit of love and kindness, her sisters, Marlene Boffman (Bob), Darlene Dumas, her brother, Dwight Griffin (Tonya); nieces, Yvonne Dumas, Tamika Crews, Jasmine Newman, and Cynceria Griffin; nephews, Sean Boffman and Bernard Griffin, Jr.; special cousin Dionne White, adopted sister, Nina Billue; special aunt and uncle, Richard and Cheryl White; and a host of cousins and friends.

Ernestine began this life in Columbus, Ohio on May 11, 1956. She worked at National City Bank (currently PNC Bank) and retired from the Limited Brands Company as a Production Control Coordinator (Computer).

Ernestine was known to all as a genuine sweetheart and a faithful daughter, sister, and friend. She was a provider and a hard worker. As a teenager, Ernestine loved to dance, she loved fashion and to model. She loved life and laughing, and she accepted the Lord at an early age.

We give all thanks, praises and love to GOD for allowing us to share 60 wonderful years with Ernestine Louise Griffin. Ernestine's spirit, zeal for life, love and affection will be cherished and missed.

Visitation will take place, Friday, April 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with funeral service celebrating her life from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., both at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio. Reverend Richard White, officiating.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
