Esther M. McCormick

Esther M. McCormick, age 85, of Upper Arlington passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010. Esther was born on March 16, 1924 in Carthage, New York to the late Raymond and Vera LaFave. Esther is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry McCormick; sons, Kevin J. McCormick and Dr. Stephen P. McCormick and brother, Leland. She is survived by her loving daughter, Joyce (James) Stoflinsky; daughter-in-laws, Rebecca Masse and Sylvia McCormick; grandchildren, Michael, Stephen, Kevin, Patricia and Kami; and sister, Gloria. Esther was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church since 1970 and the UA Senior Center. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed an intelligent conversation. Her family will miss her dearly not only as a mother, grandmother and sister, but also as a friend. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7:45pm at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Mass of Christian burial will be on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 10am at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1899 Mc Coy Road, Columbus, Ohio 43220. Father William DeVille celebrant. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
