Ethel Lee Williams

Ethel Lee Williams, 66, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was born September 22, 1951, in Camden, Alabama, to the late Willie and Ceola (Young) Williams. She was a 1970 graduate of Camden Academy and attended Wilberforce University. Ethel retired from the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, where she worked for 28 years. She was an active member of Pentecostal Church of Christ and volunteered for various organizations around the city up until her decline in health. She loved to cook, crochet, and spend time with friends and family, especially her grandson, Malcolm. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor and infectious laugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Viola Williams Young, and granddaughter, Naomi C. Farley. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Erik) Farley (Columbus, OH); grandson, Malcolm Farley; brother, Mark Williams (Selma, Alabama); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11:00 am, at the Civic Conference and Events Center, located at 3130 Mayfield Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
