Eugena "Terry" Henderson

Eugena “Terry” Henderson, age 86, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012. She was born in Columbus to the late Robert F. and Erma M. Knight. After graduating from North High School, Terry attended Dennison University, and then graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Chemistry. She worked as a medical technologist, a school teacher, and finally as a travel agent. She enjoyed travel and had visited destinations all over the world. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lorraine Chapter #1, the Chi Omega Alumni Association, and attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Dublin. Terry loved music and was a soloist at Trinity Episcopal Church. She also played piano and trumpet. She was an intelligent, happy person with a playful sense of humor, and she adored her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Henderson. Terry is survived by her children, Craig (Cyndi) Henderson and Kim Henderson (Jay Zeek); grandchildren, Alex, Caitlin, and Christian Henderson; lifelong friend, Martha Trout; and godson, Rick Watson. Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, Rev. Craig S. Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
