Eugene Julius Florian

Eugene Julius Florian, 81, of Columbus, died unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born September 1, 1932 in Canton, OH to the late Julius and Mary (Todoran) Florian. He was a graduate of Timken High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. Most recently Gene was a driver for Amerikare Ambulance Service. His passions were golf, work and cooking. He is survived by his companion Sheila Florian; brother David (Carole) Florian; stepmother Magadalene Florian; children David (Tammy) Florian, Michelle Caldwell, Jeff (Sue) Weals, Daniel Florian, Doug Weals, Diane Florian, Bryan Weals; friend Cindy Lampley; Uncle Eugene Bonchu; grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:30 PM at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd., Rittman, OH 44270.
