

Eula Rose Webb, 84, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 2, 1933 to the late Clarence and Mary Edith (Ruby) Pierce. Growing up, she attended Clay High School. She was a Godly woman who cherished being the matriarch of her family. She was always concerned about those around her and went to great lengths to take care of others. She was an excellent cook and loved to sing the old Pentecostal church hymns. Eula was passionate about sharing her wisdom with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Downey and Fred Webb; brothers, Clarence “Buck” Pierce and Billy Pierce; sisters, Irene Malone and Shirley Downs; and son, Randy Downey. Eula is survived by her children, Ken Downey, Faith (Rocky) Maxwell, Jack (Ann) Downey, Joan Denman, and Jonathan Downey; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patti Soloki and Barbara Tippett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday.
