

Evelyn V. “Lynn” Holtz, 90, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Monterey Care Center in Grove City. She was born November 17, 1920 in Tientsin, China, the daughter of the late Edwin Sterling and Wilhemina Rose (Kahler) Easley. She was a former pilot with the Coast Guard and was a retired occupational therapist with United Cerebral Palsy. Evelyn enjoyed sewing, painting and making jewelry in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frommhold; her daughter, Wendy Fairweather; grandson, Sean Fairweather; sisters, Barbara and Joyce; and a brother Edwin S. Easley. She is survived by her children, David (Kathy) Holtz of Winchester, KY, Don Holtz of CO, Dennis (Tina) Holtz of Circleville, Wanita Savage-Nash of CO, Supaporn (Carroll) Dowler of FL; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemarie Harris of England and Elaine Navarre of CA.; son-in-law, Bill Fairweather of Westerville. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Gerhard Kraus officiating. No calling hours will be observed.
