He is preceded in death by his father Valentin Motschkowitsch; his mother Katharina Motschkowitsch (Becker); his sister and brother-in-law Katharina and Stefan Buck.
Ferdinand is survived by his wife of 70 years, Margareta Motschkowitsch; nephew Reinhold Schweitzer; niece Claudia (Brian) Smith; niece Marianne Schweitzer; nephew Gunter Buck; many great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.
Ferdinand worked as head tailor for Walker Clothing for over 28 years. He was an over 50-year member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church, and an over 50-year member of the Germania Singing and Sport Society.
Ferdinand's family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus. Interment Monday at Resurrection Cemetery. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and attendance will be monitored to ensure safety for everyone attending.
