Flora Mae Nicholson

Flora M. "Flo" Nicholson, age 83, found peace and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Flo was born on July 15, 1933 in Herrin, IL to Kyle and Jessie (McCraken) Wyatt. She worked for Motorist Mutual Insurance as a Secretary for many years. She was an active member of Grace of God Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and played hand bells. Flo belonged to Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Dodge Senior Center. She also enjoyed playing the piano, bingo and doing arts and crafts. Preceded in death by her parents, Kyle and Jessie Wyatt; husband, Earl D. Nicholson and brother, Carlos "Bud" Wyatt. Flo is survived by her children, James Nicholson and Beverly Fuchs; grandchildren, Ryan (Robin) Fuchs, Allison (Mitch) Coppes and Sarah Nicholson; great granddaughter, Scarlett Goehr; many other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the HOPE and HEART FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER, 3030 W. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio where service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mark Diemer officiating. Interment Franklin Hills Memory Garden.
