

Forest Glenn Turner, age 91, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Westminster Thurber Community. Forest was born on June 3, 1924 in Knox County, Ohio to the late Clarence and Lesta (Neighbarger) Turner. Forest graduated from Fredericktown High School and attended The Ohio State University and Louisiana State University. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Forest had his own exterminating business. He was a longtime member of Whitehall Church of the Nazarene. He will be remembered for his witty sense of humor and love of telling jokes. He loved spending time with this family and serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Lenora McGough, Dorothy Pinkerton; brothers Floyd, Clyde and Donald Turner. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sue Turner; daughter Sandra L. (Ron) Gould-Bishop; grandchildren Aimee Gould-Conlee and Aaron Gould; several great grandchildren; sisters Ruby Miller and Corena Blankenship; sisters-in-law Frances Turner, Donna Turner, Shirley Greene; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Family and friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Whitehall Church of the Nazarene, 739 S. Yearling Rd., Columbus, OH 43213, with viewing one hour prior to service. Rev. Wesley Frederick officiating. Interment at Alton Cemetery.
