Minister Frances Williams Randolph Parks, age 79, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Promedica of Westerville. She was born on February 7, 1943 in Mt. Olivet, Kentucky to Lida Reed Williams and Charles Nelson Williams Sr. She was member of Haven Chapel Methodist Church. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 6 and started ministering at 7 years old at the Benevolence Nursing Home in Maysville, Kentucky. She and her sisters were singers for WFTM Radio Station in Maysville, Kentucky. At the age of 12, she started teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, as well as being a member of the Missionary Society. At Living Faith Apostolic Church, she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. In 2002 Minister Frances attended and became a member of Rhema Christian Center and in October 23, 2008, she was licensed as a minister. While at Rhema she was a coordinator of the Repast Ministry, a member of the Personal Workers Ministry and a minister for the First Thursday Night Prayer Service and Nursing Home Ministry.
Her dad always said to set an example for your children to follow. He said be an example in speech, in conduct, in love, and in faith (1Timothy 4:12). Minister Frances always lived her life as an example. Her mom always said it is a hard pill to swallow but God can work it out. God always kept Minister Frances all these years through her afflictions because she called 9-1-1. (Psalms 91:1) Minister Frances was known by many as a prayer warrior and a servant of God. She was always willing to help others in any way needed by an encouraging word, a smile, or a giving heart. Minister Frances graduated with an Associate Degree from Ohio Dominican University in 1981 in Early Childhood Education to teach HeadStart. She was the Director of Rosemont Childcare Development. While employed at SuperX Drugstore, which merged into Drug World, Revco Drugstore and finally CVS Pharmacy, she performed many duties such as head cashier, bookkeeper, pharmacy technician, and was promoted to district trainer. She retired after 27 years of service and received many awards and honors. Minister Frances volunteered with Veteran services and at the Vineyard Church in the free medical clinic. She loved gardening, sewing, playing the piano and singing. She was a crafty person who loved coordinating weddings and dinners.
Survived by her children, Kenneth Wayne Randolph (Delores) of Columbus, Ohio, Miles Linden Randolph of Columbia, South Carolina and James Francis Randolph of Columbus, Ohio; Siblings: Marshall Wood Williams (Mildred) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Margaret Helen Williams of Cincinnati, Ohio, Anna Ruth Williams Pearson (Lawrence) of Lexington, Kentucky, Barbara Louise Williams Collin (Willie) of Cincinnati, Ohio and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws;
Preceded in death by, Mother, Lida Reed Williams (d. 1985); Father, Charles Nelson Williams Sr. (d. 1993); husbands, Sonny Randolph and Jimmy Eugene Parks; son, Mark Douglas Randolph; siblings, George Arthur Williams, Raymond Earl Williams (Carolyn; Virginia),Edith Bell Williams Marshall (Bob), Kizzie Lee Williams Chambers (Benjamin), Louis Austin Williams (Elizabeth), Charles Nelson Williams Jr., Herbert Williams (Mary), Dorothy Jean Williams Richardson (Timothy), Edward Ellen Williams, Mary Alice Williams, Evelyn Marie Williams, and Leonard Russell Williams. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 10:00 am with visitation from 9-10:00 am at Rhema Christian Center, 2100 Agler Road, Columbus, Ohio 43224 with Bishop La Fayette Scales officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Baptist Cemetery, Washington, Kentucky at 2:30 pm.
