Francis I. Moyer

Rev. Francis I. Moyer, age 80, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He was born April 15, 1930, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to the late Francis and Martha Moyer. Francis dedicated his life to Christian ministry and will be remembered for the lives he touched while serving in the following churches: Canal Fulton Presbyterian Church (Ohio), Milan Presbyterian Church (Ohio), Church of the Covenant (Grafton, West Virginia), McNair Presbyterian Church (Washington Courthouse, Ohio) and most recently served as Pastor of Visitation at Mifflin Presbyterian Church in Gahanna, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Joanne L. Moyer; stepsons, Ronald (Sandra) Martin and David Martin; grandchildren, Benjamin (Emily) Martin of Michigan and Allison Martin of Utah; great-grandchild, Cassandra Elizabeth Martin. Family will receive friends 4-7 pm Monday, November 29, 2010 at Schoedinger Northeast Chapel, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am at Mifflin Presbyterian Church, Granville St., Gahanna, Ohio 43230; Rev. Peter Dembroski, officiating; interment Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
