
F.P. “Bud” Plahuta passed away peacefully at his residence with his family surrounding him on February 5, 2010. He was born in Neffs, Ohio to the late Laura and Frank Plahuta. Bud is also preceded in death by his brother, Eugene. He was the founder and president of B & G Tool Company. He was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Philippines and then graduated from Ohio State University in 1952. He was a former member of the St. Xavier Male Chorus, a lifetime member of the U.A. Civic Association, a member of the American Legion and long time member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 65 years, Ednamae. As well as his sons and daughters in-law, Thomas (Shelly) Plahuta of Memphis Tenn, Michael (Meg) Plahuta, Stephen Plahuta, and Jamie (Leslie) Plahuta all of Upper Arlington, Ohio. He is also survived by his daughters and son in-laws, Kathleen (Alan) Pudelski of Macedonia, Ohio, Patricia (Heath) Von Staden of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Cheryl (Bob) Farmer of Powell, Ohio and grandchildren, Kelly Kauffman, Kristen (Shan) Beyer, Stacy Pudelski, Jessica (Brad) Harkrider, Jacob Plahuta, Ryan (Autumn) Martin, Daniel (Jennifer) Plahuta, Patrick Plahuta, Kendel, Chloe, Madison, Darby, and Trey Farmer, Joshua and Jack Plahuta, and Sarah, Haley, and Austin Plahuta, and a sister Dorothy of Glencoe, Ohio. Great grandchildren, Chad Kauffman, Dylan Pudelski, Jayde, Kendra and Dustin Martin, Andrew and Abigail Plahuta and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Bud touched many lives with his good will and humor. He loved Irish songs, singing, dancing Polkas and being around family and friends. He will be remembered as a friendly person who would do anything for anyone. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all.
